Touch Up in the Master Bath

After our major renovation was finished the master bathroom was only roughed-in.

It took us a long time to finish the master bathroom.

Charlie and I with the help of our friend the Viking finished everything else except plumbing and tiling.

Screwheads and grout were showing on the shower kneewall.

After the tile was finished the knee wall that separates the shower needed to be “finished,” that is, joint compound applied to hide edges of cement board and screw heads.

Screwheads and surface mismatches have been covered.

Charlie (better at mudding than I) skim coated the edges.

The space at the bottom of the wall near the shower tile (see first photo) has been sanded and painted.

He also sanded down a messy spot next to the sink vanity.  (See bottom corner of first photo.)

I touched up everything including the switch and outlet covers with grey paint, Coventry Gray by Benjamin Moore.

White towels are augmented with coral ones.

Time to put out my colorful summery towels.
