It’s been bugging me that the plumbing access panel in our upstairs hall is not attached.

The wall panel allows access to bathtub plumbing.
Actually it’s leaning into the hall because I haven’t finished installing the baseboard trim.

Two pieces of ogee molding were discovered in the miscellaneous pile.
I didn’t think I had spare pieces on hand to do it. But I scavenged through the pile of trim and found two scraps of ogee molding that will just work.

Both sides of the bathroom door wer missing ogee to top off the baseboard.
I cut them to size with my manual miter box and backsaw. Then I used the pneumatic tacker to attach them.

Ogee molding fills in gaps made by a non-straight wall.
Finally I could screw the unattractive though necessary access panel more permanently to the wall.

Voila!
Done.
