The take down of the “screen porch” at the shore house began yesterday.
A screen porch runs the length of the back of the house.
I thought the demo had just begun . . .
Only the base of the walls and the hearth for a wood stove remain. Also notice the tree which has caused us so much septic trouble. (viewed from the driveway)
and then I received the above photo.
In an afternoon the roof and upper walls have been removed. (viewed from the backyard)
I was concerned because the new rain gutter had also been removed.
This seems like a huge improvement to me.
After voicing (actually texting) my concern I received another photo. The gutter has been reattached.
I’ll be calling the insurance company today to see if coverage is available now.
